The City of Porterville accepts applications for the following positions on a continual basis:
In accordance with AB218, as of May 19, 2014, the City of Porterville now has two (2) employment applications. Please make sure to review and submit the correct application for the position in which you are applying. Failure to submit the correct application will be cause for dismissal from consideration.

Resumes may be included, but do not substitute for a completed application. Submit the appropriate application and resume, and together with any materials required to accompany the application if noticed in the announcement, to the Human Resources Office, City Hall, 291 N. Main St., Porterville, CA 93257.
Applications may be faxed, e-mailed, mailed or hand delivered to the Human Resources Department. Applicants who choose to fax or e-mail their employment application must also submit an original, signed application.
