The mission of the Porterville Finance Department is to provide the highest level of customer service to both the public and the organization itself, to promote the efficient operation of all City services, and to maintain compliance with all applicable mandates. Our mission is accomplished through the application of the City Municipal Code and Generally Accepted Accounting Principals. These guidelines, when applied with courtesy and compassion, enhance the experience of conducting business with the City and promote "The Good Life."
