Mandatory Fireworks Safety Meeting

The mandatory Fireworks Safety Meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, and Thursday, June 10, 2010, in the City Hall Council Chambers.  We request that your people arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the meeting to facilitate signing in and being ready for the presentation at 7:00 p.m.

Please make sure you have an adequate number of people in attendance to cover the days of operation for the fireworks booth.  We recommend at least 20 people in attendance for the safety meeting from your organization. Remember, one (1) person must be in attendance in the booth, at all times, that has attended the Fireworks Safety meeting. Booths not in compliance will be restricted from sales until being brought into compliance.

To accommodate everyone please comply with the following:

1) Due to the limited space available in the Council Chambers, have only the people attend who will participate in the program.

2) Due to the lengthy presentation, including the material covered, we request you do not bring children to the Fireworks meeting.

Please have a safe and sane 4th of July,
