Make a Splash, Make a Wave or Water Your Mind at your Library this summer and dive into a great book!
Join one of our summer reading programs at the Porterville City Library, 41 E. Thurman Avenue or the Margaret J. Slattery Children's Library, 256 E. Orange Ave. The 2010 summer reading programs are open to young people and adults.
Make a Splash- Preschool through 12 years old.
Make a Wave- Teens and young adults
Water Your Mind- Adults
All three programs feature special events on Thursdays and prizes. Staff has also planned unique "Story Times" every Tuesday, 10am, to be thematically related throughout the summer. Registration for all summer reading programs begin June 7.
