New Water Slide at the City Pool a Big Hit!

This summer there will be 137 reasons to visit the City Pool.  That is because there is now 137 feet of water slide to slip, slide and slither down into the pool below!  Thanks to a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), this $190,000+ project will be open for public use when the pool opens on Memorial Day.

This awesome new slide is a Natural Structures Model 1830 and was manufactured in Baker City, Oregon.  The slide run is 137' 1", with a 36" diameter open flume and operates on 600-800 gallons of water per minute.  However, daredevils be warned, only single, feet first riders will be permitted.
