Welcome to the Porterville Police Department's website. I am extremely proud to serve as Chief of Police for such an outstanding department. I am confident that our Department holds some of the most professional, dedicated, loyal and hard-working individuals throughout the law enforcement profession and we are dedicated to providing a vibrant and safe community where people will want to visit, businesses will want to locate and families will want to raise their children.

The members of our department are committed to using proactive and innovative approaches to reduce crime in our community so we may keep our streets, schools and neighborhoods safe. We work hard to understand the needs of our city residents and meet those needs by utilizing innovative approaches to solving problems, actively preventing criminal acts, and aggressively apprehending criminals in a manner which is consistent with the law.

We value the relationships we have with our city officials, school districts, business community and residents, and we encourage all of you to be part of this cooperative effort. It takes involvement from everyone in our community to create a safer community in which to live, work and play.
