Rick Hardt

Rick Hardt is a local boy, raised in Lindsay and currently living in California Hot Springs.  He currently practices dentistry on Main Street Porterville.

He has been interested in photography for a number of years and has completed at least 12 online courses in photography.

An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys adventuring into the Sierras as often as his schedule allows. Trips to Mt. Whitney and Yosemite are among his more recent.

In 2006 he had a rare opportunity to visit the country of Nepal where he visited the Khumbu valley, home of Mt. Everest.  Part of this “photographic safari” was to trek to the base of Mt. Everest at more than 18,000 feet.

One of his favorite pastimes is to look for images of his home county that show the true beauty that can often be missed while hurrying through our busy lives.
