What I Like About Porterville...

First off, I love all of the community events that take place.  My favorite, The Corporate Games, truly exemplifies what Porterville is all about.  Employees of various businesses all coming together outside of the work place for some friendly competition.  The invaluable team bonding and community spirit generated is so gratifying to observe.

A few other things I love about Porterville are the two fantastic school districts, and the amazing individual’s that I am fortunate to be able to call my friends.  I grew up in Porterville but after having lived in San Diego for 8 years I definitely do not take for granted getting from one side of town to the other in 10 minutes.  I love the short, traffic-free drives.  I also love getting to work with all the wonderful people from the various departments in the City of Porterville. 

What a blast it has been for me to have grown up here participating in City activities and now having the pleasure of administering them to the community.   Porterville has been great to my family and I, and I look forward to many more memorable years to come.
