announcementRequest for Job Announcement forms can be submitted to the Human Resources Office for any City of Porterville position that is not open for recruitment.  Once submitted, the request is kept on file for a period of one year.  If the position identified on the form becomes available during that one year period, a job announcement will be mailed to the address provided on the form.   If the position does not become available and the form expires, a new request may be submitted.

Please note:  You must submit one request form per job position title.

A Request for Job Announcement form can be e-mailed, faxed, mailed or hand delivered to the Human Resources Office in City Hall.
