The utilities division will receive an instant notification of your payment and will post it to your account on the next business day. For each payment, you will receive a confirmation number. Paymentus will also send you an email confirmation for your records.
ONLINE SERVICE CHARGES: Although the City of Porterville does NOT charge any fees associated with the credit card/ATM or check by phone purchases, Paymentus, an independent service provider does charge a convenience fee for each transaction.
Prior to committing to making your payment online through Paymentus, you will be presented with the actual convenience fee being charged for your transaction. You will be required to acknowledge and accept the calculated convenience fee before proceeding with your payment transaction.
Paymentus fees are as follows:
