Earn Your High School Diploma and get a Career Certificate at no cost.

The Porterville City Library, in partnership with the California State Library and Smart Horizons Career Online Education, is offering adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificates through Career Online High School (COHS).

This program provides a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners who are looking to expand their career opportunities, prepare for workforce entry and continue their education.



Eligibility: To be considered for the program, applicants must:

• Be 19 years or older
• Live in the City of Porterville
• Have a library account in good standing

Requirements: All applicants must complete:

• An online self-assessment
• A prerequisite course
• An in-person interview
