Teqball comes to Veterans Park! Teqball USA donated the sport's popular Teq One Table to the City of Porterville which opened to the public on March 5. This donation is made to further establish the sport across the United States and make Teqball available for all who want to play.
What's Teqball?
It's the latest craze in ball sports that combines elements of soccer and table tennis. There are five different variations of games that can be played on the sleek curved table (the Teq table). The games can be played with two players as a singles game, or four players as a doubles game. It is for both the professional athlete and amateur enthusiast trying to develop stamina and skill.
The main soccer sport follows a points-based scoring format and allows players a maximum of three touches before returning the ball to the opponent, so if you can juggle a soccer ball three times, you will excel at Teqball as well. Teqball is the purest use of a soccer ball, with the rule of no physical contact allowed between the players, or between the players and the table, helping eliminate the risk of impact injuries.
Teqball is not only a sport, it's a lifestyle!
