WHAT
This exciting business-to-business competition brings local organizations of all sizes together for a variety of fun and entertaining activities. It's a great opportunity to reward employees for all of the challenges faced over the last couple of years and come together to promote teamwork and a sense of company pride. Organizations of all sizes will compete in a variety of fun and entertaining activities all while vying for the most accumulated points and ultimately, ownership of the coveted Corporate Cup. This two-week competition typically takes place in September. Corporate Cup
The ultimate goal of competing in the PCG is to win the prestigious Corporate Cup. Points are awarded to the top six (6) finishers in each event, and are accumulated throughout the Games. The company with the highest point total at the end of the tournament wins the 2023 Corporate Cup, which will be presented after the final event.
Medals
In addition to earning points for your company; Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams of each event. The medals will be presented to the winning team members at the close of each event.
All Star Team
Team captains will help select players from their team to receive special recognition on the competitions All Star Team.
Spirit of the Games
Competition organizers will select one team that stands out for their enthusiasm, team spirit, and good sportsmanship.
WHO
Which organizations are eligible? Organizations in the Porterville area, including schools, churches, service organizations, businesses, non-profit and government agencies.
- Participants must be 16 years or older
- Must work for the organization full-time/ part-time; or must be active members of the church/ service club/ agency.
- Spouses of qualified players and retired employees are eligible at the discretion of each organization.
Most events are coed with some events requiring at least one woman and some events at least two women. Each company competes in every event, but different people on the roster may participate in different events. Rosters are due no later than the start of the first activity.
HOW
Get your co-workers together for some fun, camaraderie and even a sprinkle of exercise. The competition consists of diverse team events, encouraging participation from individuals of all interest and abilities. Check out our sponsorship levels below. Each one includes at least one team entry!
