City of Porterville Hosts Community Meeting Regarding Tulare Regional Multi-Jurisdiction Housing Element

Community members are invited to attend a Tulare Regional Multi-Jurisdiction Housing Element community meeting regarding housing. Your valuable input will help create a comprehensive housing plan for the region for the next eight years.

Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Location: Centennial Plaza Conference Room, located at 15 E. Thurman Ave. Porterville, CA

The Housing Element is a plan to support housing for people at all income levels and needs. This Housing Element includes the cities of Tulare, Exeter, Lindsay, Farmersville, Woodlake, Porterville, and Dinuba. The Housing Element directs locations for new housing and includes policies to support new housing development, preservation and rehabilitation of existing housing, affordable housing, homeownership opportunities, emergency shelters and supportive/transitional housing, and housing for seniors, students, farmworkers, and people with disabilities.
