CITY OF PORTERVILLE COMMUNITY E-NEWSLETTER LAUNCHING SOON!
The City of Porterville will soon be launching a new Community E-Newsletter! The newsletter is intended to help residents stay informed by highlighting important City information, news and upcoming projects. The newsletter will be sent out electronically on a monthly basis to all subscribing members and will also be available on the City’s website. City staff has been developing the newsletter to assist residents to stay better informed on all current events and important issues affecting the Porterville community.
The E-Newsletter is aimed at increasing the methods the City uses to engage its residents. Engagement involves more than public participation at meetings and events, and the use of technology provides a great number of opportunities to ensure residents have access to a wide range of tools and information in order to participate more in community affairs. The newsletter will highlight City events, services, projects, community happenings, the latest City Council initiatives, and more!
In addition to the City’s press releases and social media channels, residents will also be able to register to receive the monthly newsletter as another means of being aware of what is happening. The City has various email notifications alerts that residents can sign-up for to stay connected and stay informed. The newsletter will be an additional resource for the community to subscribe.
From the latest Council decisions to upcoming road closures, the monthly electronic newsletter will keep residents on top of what's new at City Hall and the surrounding community. Stay connected and sign-up for to receive the newsletter today.
